Independent Project
Currently developing an independent Unreal Engine project to gain hands-on experience as a Project Lead, focusing on technical direction, gameplay system design, and production management. The project serves as a sandbox for experimentation with advanced gameplay mechanics and team coordination. I also created a component-based Trap and Damage System supporting multiple hazard types, and implemented a full Gameplay Ability System (GAS) in C++ for abilities such as dash, heal, and damage. Additional systems include a Helicopter AI that autonomously circles and attacks the player, a Cannon Combat System for predictive projectile firing, and Level Streaming setups for seamless transitions and optimization. I’ve also integrated Niagara scripting via C++ to simulate environmental effects such as wind and dynamic particle behavior, focusing on modularity, performance, and reusable design throughout all systems.
